Today, I've had a story when the propan-butane gas (for kitchen) has unsealed itself & started to release toxic gas.
I've noticed it, quite soon – my mother was sleeping at the time. I've opened all the windows, but I've always locked in my home, so I needed to fast wake up my mother (what a stupid idea to be locked in you're home and furthermore: the keys AREN'T [they're
hidden and my mother very often forgets where they are [!]]).
However she acted like nothing happened, even did a "war" and told me I'm stupid, all the time – that she would call the police, put me into a psychiatric hospital.
The smell (I know that all those gases propane-butane are without smell, but in Poland they're adding some substances which add the characteristic smell) of the gas was just everywhere in the house and after wanting to put her in the kitchen without windows open, she changed her mind and I've forced her to remove the butane cylinder (however it's hard to grab the
whole meaning of the situation in the text, you would need to be inside home to judge that situation was really very dangerous and could end dramatically).
We could all die.
BTW. One of my friends friend died of butane overdose, he took a "gold shot" (he was "inhalants" junkie). I've didn't noticed symptoms of the butane overdose (which include mainly: nausea, headache, dizziness & many more), because that I've did the action fast enough.
CONCLUSION(s). Always be cautious.
If you live with stupid/irresponsible/unmoral people – just RUN away from this place, where you live with them, at all cost. Why? Because they're trouble and you don't want to be involved.
Ignorance killed many people.
