I've wrote this article for the purpose of communicating people mainly the 1st point. You would learn soon why.
Never give anybody your money to manage. Learn to do it by yourself.
Watch American Greed [II part [episode: "The Art of Steal"] (episodes) as ordinary people give all their retirement money savings and are staying with nothing (being scammed and turned into bankrupts, because of their own unconsciousness & ignorance, lack of knowledge [I can't explain how
naive you must be to put __all__ your money into something 1., 2nd: in this world, there is no money without effort, that you need to put – just giving it to somebody and you would get (very) substantial returns, at least I don't know anyone who would made it in such short period of time [which are promised & given in those funds, at least: at the beginning],
not being the hedge fund manager]).
Thing is that most of these funds soon or faster become a Ponzi Scheme. Most of the banks are already cooking books. I don't want to comment it, but its funny to see how the people are naive, wanting something for nothing. I would ask: who is greedy – the crook or the people who trusted him
and wanted something for nothing? Although on other hand: people who run those funds aren't in the beginning starting to do a scam – they want to run a legit business, however they very often find they're taking a losses and getting a new investors in order to protect the "bad time", turning it into the ponzi scheme in which all of the investors loose most of
their money and it turns very often that its almost all what they've invested.
Also never keep all the money in one place. Make it redistributed over various places & investments (as e.g. legit businesses).
This point appeals to the ordinary people who can't commit a loss, because they would loose all what they have. It may be different for the sharks in the industry which could allow a loss on their equity and could handle with the all lost funds, because of the reason – they never invest ALL in one venture.
Never trust anyone, to the end.
Even you're family, friends, enemies & spouse. Check everything & everyone.
Why? You've got a perfect example in the first video (of: American Greed, II part), where the spouse "had sold" to the FEDs her husband, because she has probably found out that he wanted to escape (on the other hand: always lock your computer & never reveal your plans, keep everything in secrecy, but
you don't need to tell everything your wife, along with the guidelines of Characteristics of the powerful people. How to be powerful?). Although I'm aware that it might be a very bad example, it only directs you on thinking: what could happen to you
when the people who know too much about you or that you have trusted – might betray you (and they would when they would get a chance). It's far smarter to not put too much trust in anyone, especially in friends: because they're easily aroused to envy. They know your weak points and know where to attack. You want to avoid that.
Avoid to be naive, be suspicious all the time ("what's somebody interest in it") [to get me into x or y]. Nobody would give you anything for free. It's dangerous to take, even for the most powerful. Instead it's better to give and then, in the meanwhile – take much more.
Free money doesn't exists.
"FREE lunch" or receving something for free == means very often: hidden obligation.
If you're giving somebody something to keep = it may be lost, know it (without compensation from his side).
Stop from now on to borrow money to others (NEVER do that) & to borrow for yourself. NEVER do any debt or take a loan. If you're smart – you don't need it or you would find a way to get it without having liabilities in a financial institutions/companies. Just don't. I won't explain it why, think for yourself.
