What is hiccup (burp)?

What is hiccup (burp)?Edit

It's a signal from your organism that you've eaten/drink something bad for you (according to your beliefs), but it's tolerated moderately by your organism. It's something between "good" food and vomiting, especially when you're drunk. Just start to avoid things which cause it. They're bad for you and you're organism is letting you know.

As you would gradually start to try vomit when you're "blurping" you would discover that you're actually "little" vomiting with the staff you're organism don't wants to know (commonly: spicy things & alcohol).

A hiccup or hiccough (pronounced /?h?k?p/ hik-?p) is a contraction of the diaphragm that repeats several times per minute. In humans, the abrupt rush of air into the lungs causes the vocal cords to close, creating a "hic" sound.
In medicine it is known as synchronous diaphragmatic flutter (SDF), or singultus, from the Latin singult, "the act of catching one's breath while sobbing".[1] The hiccup is an involuntary action involving a reflex arc.[1]
A bout of hiccups, in general, resolves itself without intervention, although many home remedies claim to shorten the duration. Medical treatment is occasionally necessary in cases of chronic hiccups.
